I just found out that our inVanceable veep said something I missed last week. And that was: "[Many times in history,] all the experts were wrong".
Hmm. I thought that they taught logic at Yale. Yep, they do. PHIL115a First Order Logic. From the course description: "By practicing the system this way, we also explore the basic notions of logic – validity, logical consequence, consistency, etc.".
I'm pretty sure the professor would say that we have two logical possibilities in what inVanceable said:
• inVanceable is an expert, therefore he may be wrong
• inVanceable isn't an expert, which also may mean he's wrong
Oh dear, how many sides of wrong can you be on at once?
